http://www.talktofrank.com/ FRANK is an accessible drugs website that gives information about different drugs, reasons why people take drugs, how to help friends that are on drugs and much more. Young people share their stories about their experiences with drugs. FRANK can be contacted via a live online chat or on the telephone. FRANK Live Online Chat is available between 2pm and 6pm.

https:www.lgbtyouth.org.uk/ LGBTyouth is a service for young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Scotland. In addition to information and advice articles, the site has an online  1-2-1 support in the form of live chats with youth workers.

http://www.youngscot.org/ – The YoungScot site supports all young people in Scotland. Information about topics that could concern young people are here, and a YoungScot card can be applied for which provides proof of age and discounts at over 1400 outlets.

The Young Scot InfoLine is a free and confidential phone service. It has information on a range of topics including money, health and the arts, as well as answering questions for young people like “How do I get my first passport?” or “What age can I get a tattoo?” 0808 801 0338 

 

http://www.sccyp.org.uk/ –  Find out about the rights of young carers in Scotland. Know about your entitlement. Contact the commissioner for more information, when you believe your rights are not being respected, or if you would like advice. The young person’s freephone number is 0800 019 1179.

http://www.childline.org.uk/Pages/Home.aspx – Childline allows free phone calls, online chats and email to volunteers so that young carers can talk about issues that are worrying them. The site even has games and activities to help visitors relax. Childline freephone number: 0800 1111. Online Chat to talk to a Childline counsellor at any time.

http://www.youngcarers.net/  – Youngcarers.net is a British based charity organisation that supports carers. The site offers more information about the plights of young carers, useful advice, forums, blogs, safe chat rooms and even an online ‘agony aunt’.

http://www.drugdangers.com/ – Prescriptions drugs are created by companies in order to make a profit. This website identifies the strategies that these companies will use in order to ensure drugs pass safety tests and are allowed to me sold to the public. Information is provided about the dangers of some prescription drugs.
